Answer: Cliff Jumping 3 Months After Breast Augmentation Typically, 3 months after breast augmentation patients are able to participate in any activity they choose. I recommend my patients wait at least 6 weeks to participate in activities that put stress on the incisions such as cliff jumping, however, each plastic surgeon will have his or her own guidelines. You should follow your board certified plastic surgeon's guidelines for recovery. Only he or she knows your individual case and can make recommendations based on your recovery progress. Best of luck with your surgery and have fun cliff jumping!

Answer: Is it safe to go cliff jumping with implants 3 months post-op? Most plastic surgeons will recommend 6 weeks or more before resuming strenuous activity with a lifting limit of 10 to 15 pounds. The incisions should be healed and durable before subjecting them to any real stress. You will have to start slowly and build up to the clift jumping activities you engaged in prior to surgery. Your best advice will come from the PS who performed your breast implant surgery.Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

Answer: Is it safe to go cliff jumping with implants 3 months post-op? Thank you for the question. Your plastic surgeon will be your best resource when it comes to returning to specific activities. He/she will know exactly what was done, how you are progressing, and exactly what type of activities you are returning to. Generally speaking, it will be important for you to return to activities in a very gradual/cautious fashion. "Listen to your body" as you do so. Having said that, most patients are able to participate in the types of activities you are planning. Best wishes.
