Hi.I am 5 day post op today and I Was wondering if heart palpitations is normal with breast augmentation.I was actually having them 2 weeks before my surgery and thought it could be from anxiety only but realized I still have them as soon as I was done with my breast augmentation.I know it can be caused by general anesthesia and pain meds but Ive been off my pain meds already for 2 days now.Can somebody explain to me why I get this feeling?
I received silicone implants three months ago. Developed capsular contraction no new surgery. Since have had foggy brain, dizziness, nausea, headaches, heart palpitations, among other symptoms. After a seven day hospital stay I have received multiple diagnoses that I never had before and I'm only 29 one of which is adrenal insufficiency. Can implants be playing a role in all of this? I have a child and want my life back prior to surgery and the symptoms...any advice or input appreciated!
Had recent breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy and expanders, the end of April. I feel that my left implant may have a leak due to a fall about half an hour ago. There seems to be a bubble upon palpitation. The left breast has been consistently smaller since surgery. Neither have completely settled yet. It is Saturday night, needing to know if I should go to the ER or just wait until Monday to schedule an appointment with my plastic surgeon?
the pain felt like mastitis.no red hot spot, breast looked normal.been getting palpitations,(feels like mastitis goes away in a few weeks)it's hard to see my doctor.by the time my appointment comes around there is almost or little pain.In the last three months I have had attacks where it feels like I can't take a breath in and that something very heavy is on my chest.2 mins. to 2 hrs.I have an appointment booked, but not for another 3 weeks.Should I go to the walk in clinic?
Since my left implant ruptured, occasionally I feel my heart flutter or beat erratically. Also, the implant seems to shift in the pocket, causing me frequent pain and discomfort. I often have to sleep in an underwire bra to keep it from shifting around at night. It seems like the fluttering happens during the pain and discomfort of the shifting and it is scary when it happens. Is this even possible?
