It's been a nightmare. They haven't healed well. I have nerve damage where the bottom half of the breasts are just a numb pine and needles sensation anytime they're touched and my nipples are painfully overly sensitive. In addition to that just recently I've noticed they look completely deformed when I lay down. I could barely afford my BA surgery so I definitely can't afford a revision nor do I really want one. I WANT THEM OUT. what can I do.
I had an augmentation with what was supposed to be a reputable surgeon in March 2020. By October 2020, he had to redo the surgery due to him going rogue in the March surgery. Unfortunately, since the first surgery, my left nipple stays flat and numb. There has been slight improvement but not much. His reasoning for this jumped all over the place. What could have happened? And what can I do to improve it? Would an Explant help regain sensitivity?
After BA 4 yrs ago right nipple & skin around it has been numb. Now 8 days post explant & getting tiny bit of feeling in nipple, but surrounding skin above, below & to right of areola does not react to cold, heat, anything. The sensation I do get is one of pressure and discomfort. Is this something that will reverse or get better gradually with the implants removed? The BA was 425cc Silicone HP Mentor Under the muscle, and I was a 32D to begin with before the BA.
I had breast implants in July 2016 and have since had a lot of numb patches and hardly feel any sensation besides pain which I have just accepted and try not to think about as it is upsetting. One is worse than the other but it no longer feels nice to have them touched. Is there a chance sensation may one day return if I have an explant? Does the numbness mean my surgeon wasnt careful. I went from around a C cup to DD/E I think 325cc silicone was used
Will my incisions from the explant and lift still be numb when I wake up from the anesthesia or will I feel pain right away? What happens is you are nauseated when you wake up from explant surgery?
13 months post-op. Explant with anchor lift and partial capsulectomy. I had some complications - became a wound care patient (right breast) for a month - but healed up completely within a month. The issue is that left breast is still almost completely numb (nipple completely) and right is somewhat numb. Also, it's like I have completely different breasts. Scar tissue has made them extremely dense and I must have a yearly sonogram in addition to my mamogram. Is this normal?
I had breast explant surgery to remove ruptured implants and didnt replace them. 4 weeks later I woke in the middle of the night with both hands numb and severe pain. I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel but my middle finger on my right hand is completely numb and is on the side that the implants were most ruptured.
I am Day 3 post explant of PIP ruptured implants and the capsular. My left breast is numb around the outer area. Still have feeling everywhere else including the nipple Is this normal? Could it be the bra is bound to tight? Any help highly appreciated. My follow up isn't until Tuesday 22nd 5 days time.
I explanted 3 years ago but had continuing discomfort in my left breast. An MRI showed a seroma and scar tethering. I had surgery to remove these. The surgery has left me in so much pain, I sought a second opinion. Further surgery was not recommended. My nipple was initially numb after the surgery but now I can hardly touch it. I just want to know if my nipple soreness and pain will ever improve as it has been 8 months since my last surgery and it is really getting me down.
