I recently had a mammogram at 34 yrs old because my doctor felt a suspicious lump which turned out to be the valve to my saline implant. My implants are 12 years old, I've breastfed 3 children & they are now bottomed out. I do not want to replace them I'm an anxious person by nature I'm sick of worrying about problems with them down the road. Can you tell from my mammogram pics just how small I'll be & if they're under the muscle? The technician commented about how I had 0 breast tissue.
Post explant two years. My right boob hurts, there is a lump above the right nipple that I noticed after the procedure and inverted nipple. I got a mammogram and ultrasound in august 2020 and they said it was just scar tissue, but its still hurting, the breast sometimes feels warmer (not sure if its in my head) but the arm and shoulder also seems weaker. All only on the right side. My left breast healed perfect. Could it be from the right muscle since Im right handed? I just want to be thorough; Its scary.
As I noticed a large lump under arm and had terrible pain and burning in my breast, implants were removed they said the lump would go away after surgery as the silicone was very close to my lungs and they couldn't remove everything.the lump under my arm is still there, should I be concerned.
I had my implants removed almost 6 months ago due to infection and always had a small amount of pain, over the past two weeks I have noticed a hard lump in my right breast above my nipple, right breast is still sore, left breast no lumps, I'm wondering if this could be scar tissue ? I don't want to panic just yet and live in a remote area, so I'm not able to get to a plastic surgeon
Under muscle partial capsulectomy, part of capsule adherant to rib. Two seromas drained on left breast but resolved. Hard firm area upper inner pole left breast. Surgeon says rib my doctor thinks so too buthaving mammogram tomorrow. Noticeable immediately after explant. Scared! Could this be rib or scar tissue? No photo as not visible.
I've had my saline implants for 12 years now. About 2 weeks ago, I noticed my right side deflating. This has been confirmed by a board certified physician.. However, now that the deflation looks complete, I have found a lump that I could not feel 2 weeks ago... Could this possibly be the deflated implant I'm feeling??
I noticed soon after explant that my right breast seemed to have some harder tissue inside. 10 months later I feel a lump the size of a small plum. It's hard and seems to be under my breast tissue on top of the muscle. Right breast has a silicone implant above the muscle. Is this a hematoma? Thanks.
My implants are 30 y/o & rock hard. Six weeks ago I found a hard lump attached to my rib. It's not in the breast tissue but on the right side at 9:00. Ultrasound findings: Snowstorm appearance with severe posterior echogenic shadowing & contour abnormality of the breast implant. No mass is identified. No evidence of malignancy. Highly suggestive of silcone rupture. Can this cause a hard lump attached to a rib outside the implant?
