Hi! I had implants with a lift almost 2 years ago. I regretted it soon after and have not felt comfortable in my skin since. I started as a 36A and am now a C. I am working up the courage to remove them. I want to wait until I am 100 percent ready but have heard some women get concave rib cages from the weight of the implants. At what point does this happen? I cant risk a messed up rib cage on top of everything else. Implants are silicon, 305 cc. Thanks.
Are my breasts look likely to improve in appearance? I am 4 days post explant. No lift. I had implants for 7 years consisting of 410cc overs for 3 years, 900cc overs 9months, back down to 450cc semi unders for last 4 years. 27 years old. 19 years old when I had my first implants and am A cup.
I recently had 15 year old saline implants removed from under the muscle. I opted to not have a lift and just let my body recover on its own. Since the procedure, it seems like my chest is concave where the implants were, like the is a circular divot or crater. I know that my breasts will fluff as I heal, and I know that I will never have perky, full breasts since I elected to not have a lift, and I am fine with that. But I am wondering if these divots will level out more as time goes on.
I explanted 234 cc implants 6 days ago. I had 3 sets of implants for a total of 42 years. My chest has become concave due to the pressure of the implants on my ribs for so many years. I am naturally almost flat and now the small amount of tissue has sunken into the dent and probably adhered. How long does it take for the chest to come back to its natural shape, if ever? Any recommendations for dealing with the adherence as well?
Dear Drs. Had my 16 y/o saline under muscle 660cc implants removal yesterday - I just didnt like the size for me anymore. He did not remove the capsule. Will the look improve over the next few months or will I need an expensive revision pocket etc to a smaller implant for aesthetics? Im somewhat traumatized by how they now look. thank you
Why is it absolutely necessary to wear the sports bra compression after breast explant surgery. I had drains for 1 week, and my incisions are healing fine. But Im still concave and squished and wearing this compression seems to make it worse. Thank you
I do realize there will be many changes over the next several weeks however, I had 500cc silicone implants placed for 10 years. Am I to expect that my chest wall will always be this way? The muscles were sutured down and drains placed. I am completely flat-chested but have good elasticity so no lift was done. Age 45 btw. I was prepared for a flabby flat chest, but the concavity is unexpected I guess.
I am devastated by how terrible the left breast looks. It is 5 days after surgery. Did something go wrong in surgery? What can be done to correct this? Was my breast tissue destroyed/removed in surgery? I'm 44 years old. My explanted implants were 325 cc, silicone, over the muscle, in place for 13 years. Before this pair, I had saline implants under the muscle for 10 years.
I had 350cc silicone unders placed late December and am removing them early August. I am a tall, slender 25 year old who was very athletic/active prior to BA (pre-op size 32B). I am concerned that the weight of the implants over these past 7 months may leave me with a bit of a concave chest after removal. Is this likely? Would it correct itself with time if it did occur? I take vitamins regularly and have never had any broken bones, save for a stress fracture in my foot from running.
