I recently found out through an MRI that one of my silicone implants has ruptured. My breasts look symmetrical when my arms are by my sides, but theres a difference in shape when I lift them overhead. Im slightly tender around my breast and armpit. My concern is that I cant have surgery for 4 months! I have trips planned and paid for over the summer that require me to be in rivers and lakes and my surgeon is worried about infection. Am I taking a risk by putting the surgery off by 4 months?
Had explant on 1/18/18. I love my shape. Hoping my breast will get a little bigger. I am a full C right now. The issue I have is that when I raise my arm, my breast flatten, almost like wrinkles up. I just started giving myself massages, and light cupping. Will my skin retract? Or what can I do to improve it?
I am 9 days post op and I feel air in my breast cavity that moves when I move my arm up and down. Doesn't hurt, but I can feel and hear it. Can this air be aspirated (like liquid would be) or is the best route to wait for it to be reabsorbed? How long should this take? Does air retention pose harm? My Surgeon is aware and working with me - I am just antsy and searching for opinions. Thank you.
I had breast implant removal and lift two weeks ago. On my right side I believe I have nerve damage. I have severe burning, pain and sensitivity in my right armpit and down the back of my right arm all the way to the elbow. My range of motion on that side is also not great. Left side feels perfectly normal. Is this likely to go away?
