I had my breast implants removed 3 weeks ago. They were saline over the muscle. About a week ago, I started to feel a burning or stinging in the bottom 1/2 of my left breast. It is not hot or discolored. Just the constant pain for the last week. It is very sensitive to touch as well. The right breast has no pain at all.
I look at my chest every day since surgery and feel that I should remove them. I am concerned that if I remove them that I will be deformed. I am also worried about leaving them in and continuing to hate them. They are WAY bigger then I wanted. What would happen if I removed them ASAP?
My implants were removed after having 15 infections and 2 "explore" surgeries over a 5 year period. My breasts are still tender and I am now running a low grade fever for 2 days. I had a drain for 3 days on the infected breast. Is it possible that I am infected again?
I had my total capsulectomy breast Explant surgery 3 1/2 weeks ago and I thought I would be back to work and feeling better by now but I have burning, stabbing and a pins and needles sensation with every step or bounce in the car and when Im not wearing a bra even when my shirt swipes agains my skin it hurts. If I dont do anything all day it doesnt quite hurt as much. Is there anyway to help heal this nerve pain faster?
I had explant/capsulectomy 18 days ago of 450cc silicone implants, under the muscle. I was an A prior to surgery. I am wearing a chest binder (really an abdominal binder) and it is really uncomfortable. I am sleeping in a compression vest at night, but feel the vest does not offer enough support for the day. How long will I need to wear this? My doctor told me months, but I cannot even imagine that long! Are there any other options besides the binder?
I had surgery 8/28. The bruising was almost gone Tuesday. There was just slight yellowing. Then bruising started coming on 2 days ago. My dr said he will see me Monday. Does this look or sound like something that needs to be checked out asap.
I had PIP implants for 10 years under the muscle. And I explanted 3 weeks from today. My boobs look really good but my right one is fuller than my left. I can tell when I wear my sports bras. Also it is a little more tender but I don't believe it's harder. (My husband says he can't really see but I can!!!)... I also can feel it more sore. Do you think it will get smaller? I don't see any difference day after day... thank you
Hi, I had my breast implants removed 3 weeks ago and had drains in for 5 days. My right breast has had more fluid from day one and maybe shouldn't have removed the drain so early. Now it's 3 weeks later and my PS would like to wait and see if my body absorbs. He doesn't want to aspirate because of infection risk and it just coming right back. He possibly wants to go back in to surgery in about a month and clean it out. Is it possible for my body to absorb this? How long would it take?
