After breastfeeding 5 children for 10 consecutive years, now I have moderate ptosis with enlarged areolas. I want implants & an areola reduction. Could getting larger implants & an areola reduction be enough to forgo a breast lift? I love the look of a lift, but hate the look of the scar, & I tend to scar easily. What would it look like with implants & no lift?
I am almost 6 months post op. Things have been healing well and I have been wearing silicone scar tape religiously for months due to past scarring raising after a previous breast aug. When changing my tape I noticed a couple holes in my scar wounds. Why would this opening be happening? I change tape every few days, am I not changing it enough?
Hello, I had a breast reduction in 2017. Although I asked questions, we never discussed incision placement. I was horrified to see how high the incisions went an inverse V between my breasts. The scars are still very visible and red. The final blow was that the surgeon removed more than I requested, and I ended up a size C, not D (from GG). Mortified, angry with myself and him. I would like some fullness back, while also removing/improving the V scars. Recommendations?
I am 120 lbs, 5'4 with A cup. I am getting a breast augmentation in a month and I know implants are not good fo everyone and may need to be removed. I am really nervous about getting breast augmentation on a pair of breast that I am actually not discontent with and having to get them removed and be terribly scarred or deformed. Is this something that can happen or that happens often?
Hello! I had a breast augmentation about 13 months ago, and I had the incisions go under my breast. I did about 6 months of silicon gel treatment for the scars. Recently, theyve started to raise and seem more textured. I was hoping for some insight on what the cause is and what I should do about it? Thanks in advance!
Hi,I can essay noticed that the scars are not even, one is perfectly straight while the other one slightly angled and longer. My surgeon confirmed this to be normal practice and to facilitate the surgery as he is right handed. Can you please inform if this is correct? Second the right breast, where the scar is angled is not fully round in the lower part as if the inner disconnection of the skin from body was not correctly done. Can I expect to gain simetry in time?
Hello, I am going to have a breast augmentation through an axillary incision, the last doctor I saw said that for him the ideal incision would be 12 cm away from my nipple, but this region is very exposed, it is not a discreet area. Anyone can see the scar, even with my arms closed. He said he couldn't go any further as the equipment wasn't long enough for more than 14cm. I went to 8 surgeons, 6 of whom agreed to do it from 15cm. So... what is the ideal distance for incision?
I had a breast augmentation May 2021 with Saline implants under the muscle. Ive noticed there are 2 small holes around my incision scar as well as bumps along scar. No pain at the moment I am not sure what this could be, should this be checked?
