Hi, I'm just curious what is a common gap/ distance for the pectoralis major muscle? Like how much space is it between the muscles on the sternum? I understand everyone is different but what is most common from your experience? And how close would you say you can go when doing dual plane type 2 without causing symmastia?
I am a 29 female, I received my first breast augmentation at 21 and the procedure did not go well. My minor pectoral muscle became extremely hyperactive it pulled on my shoulder and implant. I received my second surgery that went great 3 months ago to put the implant over the muscle to see if it will help the pain. It alleviated some pain but that muscle is still very tight and extremely hyperactive. Meaning when you press on that muscle it will clench reflex and clench. At this point I am lost.
Hello! I am a 27 year old athletic female weighing in at roughly 135lbs. I am 510 tall with an A cup breast on a good day. I would love to one day have larger breasts via an augmentation but I am not willing to give up the heavy lifting exercises that would not be ideal with a sub muscular implant placement. Would I be able to get a subglandular implant and maintain heavy upper body movements after recovery (bench press/flys)?
I am 8 months post-op subfascial breast augmentation. Any idea why I would be having pain in my right pec muscle (at the sternum) when I perform movements that activate that muscle? I did not go under the muscle so Im confused why I am feeling this and I have been feeling it for months now.
Its quite painful to move my arms and my right breast and armpit has a lot of burning sensation. The pec muscles feel very sore and tight. Im presuming this is normal, but have read other people are much more comfortable by day 3. No redness or swelling or anything, just very painful. I wasnt expecting the pain to get worse before better.
I had breast augmentation under the muscle 4 months ago. I was a small A cup and had 360cc put in. I noticed every time I lift or flex my pectoral muscle my breast implants move and sometimes hurt if I lift heavy weights. Is this normal? Would it go away? Im not sure if Im liking how the implants move and contract with the muscle.
I am an athletic woman who does yoga & Pilates 4-5 days/week where my pectoral muscles are fully engaged. I have large pectoral muscles, & I have read where MANY athletic women have experienced SEVERE pain after a breast augmentation b/c their pectoral muscles are larger. (As opposed to women who are not in shape have experienced very mild to moderate pain.) Also I have read athletic womens breasts have taken longer to drop & fluff b/c of their pectoral muscles after surgery??
I have already asked about recovery time but am curious as to opinion/fact regarding the affect of the under the muscle breast augmentation procedure on my overall tennis play and overhead tennis serve. I am worried that the detachment of the pec muscle will weaken and make my swing will feel awkward even after healing and that this will affect my serve, power and overall play. I am getting a full C cup and will have about 8-10 weeks to recover before I have to be back on the courts every day.
The right breast is protruding inward toward sternum and rippling. I can feel the rippling edge all around the R breast and it kind of pops in and out of place. Sometimes it feels like the implant or muscle is floating or lifting when I flex the pectoral muscle at all. Is this normal healing?! It doesnt seem to be dropping down into the bottom of the breast area either. Is this a normal part of healing process??
I had a BA about 2 months ago. I developed a fever (38.5 C - 101 F), chills and back pain a couple of days ago. I have no other symptoms (sore throat, cough etc) One of my breasts however has enlarged and is sore, especially nearby the side boob area. I had a larger implant put on that side. My pectoral muscle seems sore too. Should I worry? Thanks so much for your attention.
