Im 9 months post-op breast augmentation. (Mentor, 295cc) I want to take L-theanine supplements for less anxiety but some internet posts warn about taking supplements after post-op because it can cause capsular contracture. Is this true? Is it safe to take L-theanine supplement after 9 months of getting a breast augmentation?
I was so ready to schedule a breast augmentation. Ive thought about it since I was a teenager (27 now) and finally saved enough to pay in full. I thought I was ready to pull the trigger and now Im talking myself out of it. I have a very intense fear over general anesthesia. Ive been under anesthesia once before but I dont think it was general because I didnt have a breathing tube. The idea of being put under is absolutely terrifying and the worst part to me. How do I handle this?
Good Morning, I am a 24 yrs old healthy patient that will have her BA surgery on June 5th. My main concern regards the general anesthesia as I suffer from cluster headache: I am afraid that the anesthetic drug may be triggering for my CH. I am afraid of having some permanent brain damage or something like that, due to the lowered oxygen level in my brain when CH occours, combined with the anaesthaesia. I know my fear may be irrational but I am feeling very anxious about that. My best regards
I've had pain in one calf since week 1 and I'm not sure what to make of it. I have a history of health anxiety, but I don't want to ignore it since I had a risk factor for clotting (birth control). Surgeon wasn't worried but said I should do an ultrasound if I was concerned. I held off and saw my PCP last week. She did a physical exam and told me that she wasn't concerned. The pain isn't constant or bad (like a 2/10) but it is still occurring. Should I be concerned or is it just the anxiety?
I wanted to know as when I have anxiety I feel like I can't breathe I'm due to have my opp on the 27th and I'm worried about the wrapping being to tight that it makes me breathless and starts my anxiety off . Will it make it hard for me to breathe
My surgery is in 9 days and I am concerned that my anxiety gets worse post op. I also have heart palpitations some days less, some days more, usually after meals. My blood tests have always been fine, 1year ago I went to a cardiologist and he did ECG and ECHO, they were fine. Few weeks ago I got panic attack and went to ER, my ECG did show: occasional supraventicular premature complexes and incomplete right bundle branch block. Could this be due anxiety? I have had no problems with heart before.
I'm the very nervous type of person and I'm afraid when the surgery day comes I will have an anxiety attack, and possibly back out of surgery. Is it frowned upon to take medication to calm your nerves before surgery ?
I got 400cc breast implants 3 years ago and I have a very small frame. The surgeon advised that I only go with 350cc but I didn't listen. I noticed that I get sharp pains in my chest area on the left-hand side towards my left breast. I underwent ECG and it turned out normal but still, I'm paranoid so I brought myself to the 2d echo clinic and got my heart scanned. I attached the result so I could get some feedback. Besides that, I have an anxiety disorder which I'm taking medicine for.
