Had bbl 3.5 years ago. Compression pain on one side after the proocedure, increased in intensity over the next 8-12 mos, along with paresthesia in lower leg. Hard round lumps in buttock, no redness. Deep massage decreases pain/paresthesia/lumps temporarily. One lump feels like hard marble, lodged underneath the sacrospinous ligament per PT. Does this sound like fat necrosis? Would location under ligament be consistent w BBL? Date of onset and fact improves w massage makes me think BBL.
Im a bit confused lately. I had my bbl 5 months ago and suddenly on my right side I am getting full pain. Theres no hard lumps. I had cellulite previously and after the bbl I had a bit too. Before and after photos show similar cellulite but theres more dimpling and possible dent? On right side. I love my left. When I wear clothes it all looks even. Just the pain here and there mainly when I drive. No fever or anything? Could this be necrosis or fibrosis?
For a month or so, Ive had a little hard bump inside (not right under skin, you have to push in to feel it) but its tender, and a little smaller than a dime. I got a BBL a little over a year ago and had no complications. Ive read up on fat necrosis and fibrosis and I would be OK with either one of those because they go away I dont pose any serious harm, but Im a little scared about blood clots. How long after a BBL can you develop a blood clot and could that be what it??
Hey! I got surgery 2.5 years ago and have developed these hard lumps on both sides of my hips. I have reached out to my surgery center and my surgeon no longer practices there so they won't help me. He is no longer practicing surgery at all so I can't get any help from him whatsoever. I've reached out to three separate surgery centers here and have submitted additional photos but never received a response. I would like any help or referrals to get this problem rectified. I am willing to travel.
Hi Doctors, Is it possible to grow fat in an area that suffered from fat necrosis? I have a dent in my butt due to fat necrosis and I am wondering if I can workout and my glutes will grow or is it something that requires surgery to fix?
Seven months following the fat transfer from my belly to buttocks, the right side appears good, but the left side seems to have developed what feels like condensed fat, forming a solid mass beneath the skin. Is this potentially fat necrosis? How common is this issue, and what might be causing it? What treatment options are available? I'm concerned that removing it could result in asymmetry between my left and right buttocks.
I have no harden areas, redness, fever but I have a sensation of warmth internally but not when touching the skin. I've taken NSAIDs and applied warm compress. The lymph node swollen x 2 weeks now. I have an appt set up to evaluate it. Can this be a seroma, abscess, fat necrosis? How is one from the other determined if there is no area clearly visible? If antibiotics are given shouldn't the bacteria be determined?
