Hello, I have recently lost hair as a side effect from the covid Pfizer injection. I have seen an immunologist and vaccine specialist to be diagnosed with traction Alopecia triggered from the vaccine and inflammation. It is supposedly temporary and will stop itself within a few months. I have held off getting my Botox because I am unsure if Botox triggers inflammation or has the potential to trigger the bodies inflammation response. Thank you
I've used Botox for hyperhidrosis in the past. Recently I've dealt w/an inflammatory response to a combo of toxins and possibly foods/medications but we're pretty sure the pesticide triggered it. I also found out I have endometriosis (worsened w/inflammation). I'm worried about getting injections again after reading you can develop antibodies to it and the risk is higher with frequency/quantity. If this happens, how long would it last? Can it cause inflammation that worsens the endometriosis?
Hi - The dr put botox around both eyes to stop right eye being so droopy but it's made it even more droppy and now the eyeball on show is tiny. Even my hairdresser noticed and thought I'd inflammed one eye. Had it on 21 Sept and then top up on 5 October. Since the 5th Oct it's got worse. I can not move my forehead naturally, so what can I do to get this sorted back to not looking smaller? Forcefully push it up? I can't wait 2 more months looking like this
Hello, I had Botox injections into my masserter last year. Id had this done many times to help with my teeth grinding. This one particular time was with a new practitioner, ever since I've had puffy/swollen pockets above the injection site. It's really bothering me as it's given my face a squishy appearance when I smile. I went back to the practitioner who seemed clueless to what it could be. I've had lymph drainage which helped a tiny bit. How would I treat this? Any advice is appreciated :)
I had 15 units of Botox 3 weeks ago. 10 units in my forehead and 5 or less in between my brows. After the treatment things were fine. I have had Botox a number of times in the past few years. As the weeks have progressed under my eyes has gotten dark and with bags. My right eye is seriously inflamed. I have never had this happen before. I have been on doxy from my general doctor assuming it was an eye infection. Would Botox cause this? Can it be fixed.
I have developed a dreadful sinus infection almost as an immediate reaction after only get 6 units of botox in my forehead. The pressure is horrendous in my forhead from my imflamed and congested sinus. I'm two weeks post injections and I'm really hoping this subsides soon as it is causing me extreme anxiety and I am literally housebound. Will these side effects subside soon?
I had radioactive iodine treatment 8 months ago which triggered the eye problems buldging. The buldging is caused my inflammation behind the eyeball and I didn't know if my body would produce antibodies to the Botox and cause more inflammation to the eyeballs.
I recently had Botox injected into my forehead and between my brows 30 units total. 2 days later, I woke up to pain in my right eye, and a very bloodshot eye. I went back to the medspa where I had it done, and was told it was unrelated. A trip to my eye doctor revealed I have inflammation in my eye. Dr prescribed me prednisolone eye drops. 3 days after using that drops my eye continues t worsen. Redness is worse, pain in worse. No discharge and my eyes aren't watery. Could this be from Botox?
