After receiving Botox on my forehead and the sides of my eyes, within the first 2 hours post-Botox, I received some bad news from family, and cried a lot. I couldn't help it. But I didn't rub the Botox areas, or my eyes. Tears just flowed profusely and I just tried my best to wipe them away without rubbing. Will this affect Botox results?
Hi I had botox almost 3 weeks ago and went to a reputable doctor.since having it I find it much harder to cry and almost numbed down.also I hate the heavy/ironed out feeling in my forehead.i had forehead, glabella and crows feet done.i don't have any crows feet but she said it was best to treat the 3 areas in tandem.my glabella isn't much better.my forehead lines are softer but I feel like it's a huge effort to lift my eyebrows.when can I hope to find the effect wearing off?
Hello, recently I had my tear ducts done in both eyes down first ... still tearing than December I had upper lid tear ducts done both eyes... yet I am still crying sometimes up to 10 hours/day, it is horrible, frustrating and embarrassing... Drs can anyone help me with a solution avoiding another procedure I was told by the surgeon that my tear ducts are not plugged and I believe is true because I can feel the warm tears draining in my throat, yet I am still tearing excessively in the outside.
The effects only occurred after a followup injection three weeks after the original injections. I got two more 1 unit injections in two places under each eyelid. Is this a result of the followup underlid injections or a combination of both? Can I speed up the recovery period eg; exercising eyelid muscles, applying heat to the area to stimulate blood flow and flushing out the toxin, electric stimulation to activate muscle activity? Does recovery time start from original injections or followup?
I've had dry eyes for years (way before I started using botox). When I'm outdoor tears easily roll off my cheeks especially when its windy. I've been using botox for about year. I noticed now sometimes when I'm indoor laying on my bed or sofa watching tv if I'm laying on my side tears starts to follow. If I sleep on my side somethings I cry in my sleep. If I'm on my back it doesnt happen. I just thought I'd ask if there is any relationship to botox. Thx
