Hello! I have had a beard transplant over a year ago . I am not happy with my result so i want to remove some hairs and already plucked a few out. now they are bumps on each place where grafts have been planted. will they disappear? are these scars? will i be able to treat them with a dermaroller? unfortunately i cant upload pictures. Thanks in advance.
I want to get beard FUE. A doc who specializes in FUE recommended ~2,000 grafts for full coverage. Most FUE patients seem to keep their beard longish, so scarring concerns aren't as relevant. Those that address scarring say there IS minor scarring and being close shaved isn't a good look now. I want to keep my beard hair at a 5 o'clock shadow to a couple days' growth, and to clean shave sometimes. Is this possible, or will my face always have a bit of bumpyness / scarring?
Its been one year since I had a beard transplant performed, and ever since 4-5 months post-op, Ive had three white, painless bumps. Grafts were put into this area, so Im assuming theyre buried grafts possibly?? My surgeon and dermatologist have no idea what it could be. Will a laser possibly remove them?
Hello, I have a beard transplant surgery 11 days ago. The procedure i went under was FUT. The hairs were taken from back of my head and were implanted to my cheeks, side burns, mostache. I am attaching pics of my face. If you can see it closely there are bumps where hairs were grafted. Looks like a pimple but did not saw any puss. What are they?. Will they go away when hairs will shed? Is it something serious?
Is this an unavoidable side effect to this procedure, or are there just a lot of people opting for cheap/less competent clinics? A lot of people say you're literally forced to have a beard afterwards because the skin looks so bad when it's shaven down. While this is a worthwhile trade off for some, it's a complete dealbreaker for me. If I go to a reputable practice, can I be confident that my skin will look completely normal e.g. 1 year after transplant? This is important for me to know.
I had fue beard transplant of 3300 graft 8 months ago and now I see ridges of small bumps on majority of transplanted area with chin being the worst affected region.Current surgeon is not giving me information about this condition and just recommending creams that are of no help.I want to know about this condition and possible remedies for these ridges like structure?
Today is 11th day after my beard transplant (2200 fue, good recovery). I used an electric laser to carefully shave the hair, no blood and no roots came out. However, I notice in my chin and mouth area, there are quite a few small bumps at the bottom of the hair (especially those grafts with 2 hairs). Are these normal? I read online about cobblestone where the grafts were not inserted too deep. Now I am really worried. Are these cobblestone? Are bumps permanent? How can I reduce/remove them?
