I'm currently trying to conceive, and also hoping to have a hair transplant in the next couple of months. I'm going to schedule consultations for the hair transplant, but just curious if it would be safe to have the hair transplant while pregnant or trying. Based on similar before & after pictures online, it might be 2000 grafts (not sure if it matters). The bald patch isn't likely to change in pregnancy. I've never had a bad reaction to anesthetic and have no allergies

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your picture I don't think a transplant is the answer for you. I suggest seeing a dermatologist for an exam and perhaps using medication for thickening your hair. Best of luck to you.

Most protocols for hair restoration surgery recommend stopping many supplements for varied amounts of time prior to surgery and then resuming at a specified time afterward. You should refer to the documentation given by your hair restoration provider. All that being said, it is safe to resume...
It is not uncommon for growth to start 4-6 months after hair transplant. By 6 months, you should begin to see growth, so if you are at 5 months post-surgery then I would monitor a little longer. If you do not notice growth at 6 months then I would follow-up with your surgeon.
