I'm a little concerned. It doesn't look like there's many hairs coming through. I've been using the theradome LH80 pro since Christmas time. I've been taking dutesteride about 2 months post procedure till now and continue to take it every morning as I was told. No troubles up to date, I don't play sports nor wear helmets or hats. Ever. I made sure to take care of the area with all natural chemical free shampoo as well. It wont let me upload photos, I can email to anyone willing to help. Thanks
Answer: 5 months following an ARTAS procedure...where is the hair? ATLANTA, GEORGIA, USA Thank you for posting this question. Due to the nature of hair follicle physiology, your hair follicles are only starting to return All hairs have cycles; anagen (the growth phase - 3-8 years), catagen (the regressive phase, in which the follicle sheds its hair - about 2 weeks) and telogen (the resting phase - 3-8 months). All of everyone's scalp hair is cycling according to this schedule. Starting at about 3 months or so, the transplanted follicles will come back into their growth phase asynchronously. That's the key word: asynchronously. As in, starting in about month 3, some of the follicles will return to the anagen phase, with more growing in month 4, 5, 6 and so on. The final result is usually seen within 12-15 months. Nobody would expect a final result at just 5 months. I hope this information is helpful to you. Answer: Growth after hair transplant. It is not uncommon for growth to start 4-6 months after hair transplant. By 6 months, you should begin to see growth, so if you are at 5 months post-surgery then I would monitor a little longer. If you do not notice growth at 6 months then I would follow-up with your surgeon.

Answer: It takes time for newly transplanted follicles to grow hair After a hair restoration procedure, three quarters of the newly transplanted hairs will likely fall out in the first few months. The actual follicle itself does not fall out and continues to produce a new hair. Because of this the first of the new hairs will not be evident until the fourth month after the transplant was performed. Each month thereafter new hairs will then begin to grow. Some of the new hairs will not grow until about a year. By about the sixth or seventh month you should begin to see the results of your transplant. But remember, the final result will not be apparent for 12-15 months. If you have a concern though it is best if you contact the surgeon who performed the procedure.

Answer: 750 Grafts 750 grafts is a very small case, and the cosmetic impact is not likely to be that great. But photos will be needed (before surgery and current) before any assessment can be made. We tell patients that we would like to see them 6 months post-op, so you should be following up with the physician who performed your procedure soon.
