Accutane + Surgery Q&A

im currently on my 5th month of accutane and my oral surgeon wants me to have an arthroplasty due to severe tmj. do you think its wise to do it right now or to hold off for as long as i can due to the excruciating pain im in everyday? thank you!

Hello there. Ive been considering getting surgery done but Ive also been considering going on accutane for acne. Ive read a few studies which suggest you shouldnt go in accutane if you undergo surgery as it can interfere with the healing process. I wanted to know if this is something youd recommend I do after surgeryor if its okay to start in your professional experience?

I am on my 5th month of 30mg accutane, and I am thinking of having a tailors bunion surgery, would it be okay or should I wait until my course is finished ? Also, i went clear by month 4, how long should I still be taking accutane? As my dose is quite low

I haven't looked into this at all so I have no idea if this is something that could even be considered.
