I always would like to have a fuller forehead which makes me look younger therefore I only had fat graft for forehead for the volume instead of full face. I realised that I lose fats fastest on my forehead, but I really like the results and I prefer something organic in my face than synthetic filler thus my choice. I already had 2 fat graft done respectively in 2018 and 2019. Both by same clinic where Dr Kim is and where I used to have absolute trust in them. I will narrate my amazing experience with this current clinic which has the worst customer service. This used to the only clinic I will go even though they are not the most affordable but they have the best doctors however they probably overlooked that customer service plays the key factor for returning customers. Again I would like to explain that the doctors are great but the staff at hospital should be changed, the person supporting me, Eddie, makes me realise he probably hates his job or me. Attached are images of my pre surgery photos. Updated on 23 Mar 2024: I have done my facial fat graft in 2018 and 2019, all is good but I would like to have a fuller forehead after 5 years of last fat graft. I choose to go back Dr Kim bcoz he did my eyes previously and I have absolute trust in him Updated on 11 Jan 2025: Love the results and I bet you can’t tell how old am I!
Aged loose skin = me looking like having double chin Always like a rounder forehead, makes me look younger and doll-like. Had 2 procedures of full face fat graft in 2018 and 2019, good results but forehead loses the fat first. This time I focused on forehead only, using fats removed during tummy tuck.
Gave birth 26 years ago, no matter how skinny or how much I exercised, the excess skin and flabby tummy is forever and real. I am born 1980, easier for u to calculate age regardless when you reading this. I been contemplating this surgery for as long as I know it existed but let's be honest about the pricing, it's not cheap. I have known Doctor Kim since 2017 when he did my lower eye blepharoplasty, he has main fingers and I been going back to Regen hospital since, having routine PRP, and 2 fat graft done in his hospital but by another medical director (See previous review if you need details). Regen Medical has ceased operations and Dr Kim started his own establishment "Wooa" in Apujeong, just 5 mins walk away from Apujeong station Exit 4. Updated on 10 Jan 2024: - lack of waist line curve - bulging tummy, belly fats - diastasis recti I need to emphasise that I am an active person, working out more than 3 times a week, clocking in 5-8 hours weekly which includes strength training in gym, cardio in spin classes and dancing, I also train my flexibility taking contortion classes but despite so, my tummy issues never go away, even during my peak form, it shows as unflattering excess skin which bothers me. Especially after 40 when my physical form changes as I put on weight even though my diet remains the same. At 43 I decided to rid it once and for all - yolo, I always wished for a better physique and I also want to talk about my suffering for diastasis recti since after giving birth 26 years ago, weak non existent core muscle, weak pelvic muscle which leads to urinary incontinence when I cough and I hates it. Again I want to emphasise that I do train and stretch on a frequent basis but it does nothing much. Updated on 12 Jan 2024: 0900hrs - I had my appointment for consultation, blood test and surgery on Dec 23, 2023 in Wooa, Seoul, South Korea. I was assigned a non English speaking coordinator even though I have requested for one, the English speaking coordinator was not around, there was no replacement and they assigned a mandarin speaking because I’m Chinese. I can speak mandarin but discussing about the options, surgery, downtime and aftercare - I preferred it to be English, for this I’m rather disappointed. Talking about aftercare, I was given no information after my aftercare because there was no English or Mandarin speaking staff when I woke up from my surgery, there was a very kind and helpful caregiver at the medical institution though. 1 yes only 1, mayb because it is Dec 24, Christmas Eve. I vaguely remembered in pain and cold when I was awaken to be shifted to the resting room from operating theater, shivering and crying. Was then put on painkiller drip and in warm clothes thereafter, they also gave me extra blanket and I’m sleeping in heated bedding. I slept through out until 9pm ish and I asked for water. I also remembered drinking 3 bottles of water at 1 go and then regretted ????. Just to explain, I been fasting since I arrive at Wooa at 9am, no water and food until I woke up. The 3 bottles of water tasted like magic but then after a tummy tuck, unsure if I can walk or sit up, I panicked after drinking, worrying about using toilet if needed. It was uncalled for. I can sit up with some help holding the rail of the bed, slight discomfort along the lower abdominal area, it was numb, can’t feel a thing, instead I just felt that skin was pulled tight and I have to be careful. No issues going to the loo, or dressing myself. I strongly recommend that you rest for the night in the hospital where u have tummy tuck, for this I’m grateful to Wooa who recommended this. There was no extra charge to it. The remote controlled adjustable reclining bed is a god sent after the surgery. Aftercare for surgery is important. The caregiver was getting me water and food (Congee), switching on and off the lights, adjusting my painkiller drip, room temperature and covering me with ample blanket for warmth. Day 2 after surgery was manageable, movement slow but I can walk, bend slightly, wear my own clothes and use the toilet without help. For this again, I would like to express my disappointment that Wooa didn’t arrange my transport back to where I’m staying even though I have requested for it, and the caregiver didn’t know how to do it either. As mentioned above, there was no one else, I tried to contact the English speaking coordinator via WhatsApp but was told to hail a taxi off the street myself. At that moment, I’m just utterly disappointed because I just had a major surgery (tummy tuck), with a post surgery drain on me, alone, I do not speak Korean and taxi drivers in Korea do not speak English at all. It was also snowing, temperature -5 to -10 and I was sent out to the street to hail a taxi myself on Christmas Eve. Yes, even after I have put in the request for them to arrange a taxi in advance, of which I will pay the ride myself but it was overlooked. I’m indeed a survivor. I have mixed feelings about Wooa, my surgery was done perfectly by Dr Park Young Ran, I can see the nice waistline and flat tummy immediately after the surgery but the aftercare is almost non existent. I been with Regen since 2017, their service is so good and I’m been so well taken care of - it doesn’t matter that I always go Seoul alone for my procedures but for this trip, I am disappointed, not with the surgery or doctor but with the hired staff. There was also no aftercare information at all, I have a bag of medicine that I do not know if I have to eat before or after meals, I do not if there is anything that I should not or should be doing after surgery, I don’t know if I can shower, I know nothing, I remembered being told that I should pour away the fluid in the drain from the wound if it is more than 2/3 but do not know how. I was told by caregiver to measure how much fluid was poured away if I did pour away. I only know that I should come back on Tuesday, Dec 26 to see the doctors and remove the stitches but I do not know what time too. I was given zero information. I’m blessed though, post surgery next day, I actually hailed a taxi off the street on Christmas Eve and managed to alight somewhere near where I’m staying and walked back in snow. Yes I can walk and I got back safely. I rested for abit then I went out to get food. Walking is slower than usual but manageable, nothing to abstain from, I had seafood ramen and sashimi thereafter. I even went Seoul tower the next day on Christmas. I did contact the English speaking coordinator via whatsapp to get the green lights for walking and all the lacking information, I felt bad to be disturbing him during Christmas but I also feel sorry for myself that the aftercare is so lousy. I believe the cold makes everything more manageable because wearing the waist band feels more like protecting me from the cold, I can wear a coat to cover up the drain and I will not be sweating in winter. Updated on 14 Jan 2024: The stitches stretches across my pelvic bone. How many stitches unknown. It was bandaged and no shower until 3 days after stitches and drained removed which is approx 17 days after surgery. I use waterproof bandage and ur wet cloth to wipe clean myself. For hair, I bend forward and self wash - I didn’t want to go hair salon because I have concerns about the reclining salon seat for hair wash. Stitches removed 1 week after surgery. Drain is removed 2 weeks after surgery. No further information given, have to ask. Medicine is prescribed for 1 week, 3 times a day. Manageable pain persist after prescribed medication ends, I eat my own ibuprofen for pain management. I also had pumpkin juice and some recovery ampoule everyday, 2 times a day. Compression suit can be ordered from Hospital thru third party vendor, wear it 2 weeks after surgery and to continue wearing for 12 weeks. I ordered 2 suits so I can rotate wearing them. It cost me approx USD 400 for 2 compression suit, material is breathable and comfortable even when I’m wearing it back in Singapore’s tropical weather. There are 2 materials for choice, the thicker material is cheaper but I’m not sure how much it is. Initial wear for the compression suit takes some patience and effort but it will get easier thereafter, perhaps after the first stretch. I hand wash it, drying is fast. I rotate between the compression suit every 3-5 days. Walking and light exercise allowed, no intense and vigorous exercise but I am clueless on the classification of light to vigourous. Updated on 24 Jan 2024: Tummy and wound no longer that itchy My reconstructed belly button got inflamed, I saw a GP in Singapore and started on antibiotics and anti inflammatory cream. Flatter tummy and defined waistline. The new shape makes me look slimmer and fit better into my clothes even though I didnt lose a stone on weighing scale I’m still wearing compression suit day in night out and applying the gel for scar. Can feel wound area and waistline area still swollen and numb, but definitely more defined, considering getting liposuction for back area to create a better shape. Discussing with Wooa Updated on 10 Feb 2024: No more tummy, but still numb and tight. I do not wear the compression suit if I’m exercising or have dinner but otherwise I wear it 24/7 Updated on 23 Feb 2024: Updated on 14 Mar 2024: Doctor is all good, but without good customer service, what can doctors do? I flew all the way from Singapore here, took leave, made appointment for follow up and second fat graft surgery but was told no appointment made and my surgeon is on leave for this week. I wish I can tell you that this is a joke but it is not. I fasted the whole day, not eaten bcoz surgery was supposed to be 3pm. I fasted for fun? Their explanation was sorry, well sorry but not sorry I guess? They told me they will do their best this time and improve their customer service and this is what they did for me?
Hi everyone who's reading my review! Prebaby my cup size was 36A and I thought they looked pretty good for natural. During my pregnancy they were a bit bigger and the size changed to a full B making me look even sexier. However, after giving birth and breastfeeding + a few years, they became empty and saggy and my size turned to 34AA which made me decide to get breast augmentation surgery. I have some friends in Seoul who suggested to consult with few places there while I was visiting them. After contacting Korean clinics with the help of a friend I visited them while my visit there. My clinic I decided to go with was regen apgujeong surgery in Seoul and the surgeon was Dr. Kim Woo Jung. Before coming to Seoul, I prepared myself for 2 surgeries (as everyone said that I’d need breast lift as well) but during my consultation with Doc Kim he said it wasn’t required for the look and size I wanted which was good to hear. So, the total I spent in Seoul during 2 1/2 weeks was around $22k ish including the cost of surgery and my vacation budget. I had only few non-surgical expenses as stayed at my friend’s place. I chose Motiva for its relatively natural look and easy post-op and I decided to get W/OQ as they were cheaper + I personally find that Q-chip quite useless. The volume was suggested by Doc Kim – 320cc. I actually just wanted my breasts to look exactly how they were before pregnancy. Before the surgery I went through a complete medical check-up. The surgery was under general anesthesia and it lasted for about an hour. Right after the surgery I was already in special compression bra (Venus V-lift if someone can find it useful). Few hours after I was set free to go home and my friend picked me up. The initial recovery, of course, was brutal – swelling, pain and discomfort, utterly uncomfortable to sleep, breasts were solid and the feeling was that implants were too high. I was also prescribed some medicine and most importantly, no physical activities for a month. I actually felt a bit bad because I had planned a vacation to Korea and had to cancel a few outdoor activities with friends due to my recovery. All in all, it took me about a month to completely return to my normal daily routine and now my breasts look very beautiful. The only disadvantage I personally noticed – during PMS my breasts are quite solid and I also can’t sleep on my belly. But, when I touch it, it feels very natural and any dress or top look so perfectly on me now. Very satisfied.
I met a few surgeons in my state and some from other states as well to rejuvenate my 30 year old boobs before deciding to travel to Korea to get them done. The price including airfare & accommodation was comparable to where I live. I am also of Korean descent and finding out a lot of women like me go to korea for surgery gave me the extra courage I needed. The surgeon I got my breasts done by was Dr. Woo jung Kim from Apgujung plastic surgery in Seoul. So I have a couple of friends with back issues because of their big boobs so keeping that in mind, I went with a modest 350cc of bellagel implants. Nothing too big or eye catching. I didn’t want crazy big boobs as I’m pretty short and so are my legs so I felt it would just look too weird when fully nude. After surgery wasn’t so bad for me. Like I’ve felt way worse pain with my leg operation in the past so the surgeon and staff seemed pretty surprised on how chill I was during recovery. So about my results, I would have to say they are absolutely fantastic. I’m sure if you looked really hard at a few of my pics you could assume I did get some work done but when I hang my arms down naturally to the side you cannot tell at all. Very natural 34 b’s. The funny thing is my mom doesn’t even know and I’ve passed on her invitations to go to the sauna at least 2-3 times since my operation. She is in for a surprise. Traveling to Korea for surgery might not be for everyone but to me I thought of it as getting surgery + a short vacation as compensation however my results by themselves was worth going. I would be happy to answer any questions ).
hey girls! i’m 3 months post op. got my boobies done with bellagel implants. so, i’m 161cm and 115lbs. i’ll be 21 very soon and it was my parent’s present, love them so much! :) i expected very tough recovery after seeing some reviews but it didn’t actually stop me. my mom helped me to choose the clinic and since i’m currently studying in seoul, i decided that it’d be easier for me to get boobs job done here. i don’t really wanna load you with all unnecessary details regarding the surgery and recovery as from my experience i understood one thing, the recovery is very individual [RS bleep]! so, believe or not mine was quite easy and short. i think it also depends on the age as well as body condition.my before surgery size was 32a+ and now it’s solid full c yay! i actually wanted a bit bigger 450cc implants but after consultation with dr. kim i realized that would look super unnatural on my body, so we agreed on 375cc. i can’t say that before guys didn’t pay attention at all but now… they literally follow me and telling compliments all the time and gee! it’s sooo pleasing!so, my conclusion here is – no matter at what age you are now, if you think that after changing something you’d feel happier, just do it! you’ll always find someone who’d support you in your decision. good luck!
Prior to the surgery I wore 34A - temporarily and in some brands couldn’t even fill the cup. That seriously stressed me out. I had told my husband I wanted to get implants and he was very supportive since he knew I had recently lost quite a bit of weight (45lb) and my breasts lost a lot of volume especially 2-3 inches above my nipples. I used to be a 34B but I now just assume it was all fat. When I looked at them from the side I could see it kind of sinks around the upper area. Around 3 weeks ago, I was in Seoul going through a series of visits to various clinics I went with Apgujeong Regen which seemed the most appropriate for choice for breast implants. The reason I chose to travel to South Korea was because someone I know got her breasts done there (although it was a different clinic) and her results were what I considered ideal. I went and got the procedure done by myself – 375cc of Motiva ergonomix implants from Dr. Woo Jung Kim. Dr. Kim was very informative every step of the way and his staff helped me go through the entire process with relative ease, even though I spoke absolutely zero Korean. It was funny at times, but no issues. So after week 2, my breasts are slightly smaller from the initial size right after surgery but it was expected as they were quite swollen. I really like the positioning of my areolas as well. Some pics I’ve seen they were positioned to far outwards making it look really fake. Mine look really good so I’m quite happy about that. The soreness around the armpit area where the incision was made stopped hurting after about 10 days. I have to say, I am so glad I chose motiva’s because when I move from side, they move very naturally and itactually feels like my boobs instead of something attached to my chest that im swinging. I am really happy right now and so is my husband. He seems nervous to say he likes them better now in order to not hurt my feelings about my former self but I’m already so over that. I will keep post a few more pics in a couple of months or so to show my progress. Bye bye.
I am a 32 year-old half-asian woman from Canada living and working in South Korea. I have been considering plastic surgery for the longest time. A lot of the women here have very nice boobs – most of them are probably fake but they all look very natural under clothing and the majority of my female friends here have gotten work done as well. I did my searching mostly through google, clicking on keyword ads and checking our forums and realself before I went to my clinic in person. I didn’t have the luxury to visit multiple clinics because of work so I had to go with a lot of what I found online. First, I contacted my surgeon’s office online and once I received answers to all my questions I made an appointment. Our first in person consultation was on Apr 3 and I had surgery a few days after. I wanted silicone implants under the muscle for the most realistic look and feel and 400cc each side but my doctor but Dr. Kim showed me my left was slightly bigger than my right breast so I went with 400cc for my right and 375cc for the left to 32D+ from 32A. I chose motiva, since they are quite famous for their natural feel and shape, plus no massaging or wearing compression garment after the surgery needed, which made them look even more aesthetic compared to the other implants. The total cost for my surgery was around 15.5k usd. When I woke up after the surgery I felt tightness and my chest was very sore. Few hours after I was given some painkillers and water. I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to go back to the guest house but few hrs later, I felt much better. The painkillers I was given made very sleepy, so I stayed in the bed for the rest of the day. The next few days were the most difficult. I had to put several pillows under my back to prop me up and took painkillers every 4-6hrs. Good thing was I was able to get extra rest in the weekend before I went back to work which wasn’t an issue at all . So far I love how my breasts look. Not too big, the side boob has the look I always wanted, especially when I lean forward while wearing a bra. When I let them hang, the cleavage looks very natural and so does the nipple and breast volume ratio. It is summer time in Korea but I still haven’t gone to the beach yet. I think I will wait until around August before I feel comfortable enough. I think besides the price, I am very happy with my results. I guess I would have to live life a bit more with these boobs for the pricing to feel justified.
Hi ladies! So, I’ll finally do it! Everything is booked, tomorrow will fly to Seoul and meet my surgeon. Scheduled my surgery for this week and feeling a bit nervous. I’m not sure about the size, I’m currently 32A and curious what size 500cc would give me, I want a full C, not sure tho. The consultant said that I’ll try on a sizer to see which one would fit me best. I give another update after my consultation. Updated on 17 Jun 2019: Hey everyone! Sorry, totally forgot to update my review. So, it’s been already 3 weeks after I proceeded my surgery in Seoul. I’m back home from last week and go to work from this mon. Feel just great, can’t say that 100 healed but no more discomfort or swelling. Btw, I decided on Bellagel 400cc and I think my new breasts fit me just right! I still can’t wear normal bras but even in sports bars as well as without it at all my breasts look amazing. I currently have full C just as wanted. The scar was under the breast and it’s almost gone. Oh, and I also uploaded some of my before pics, so you can take a look and compare.
My bust was on the smaller side of A cup at 26 so I got implants put in to a full D. One of the best decisions I’ve made. Went all the way to South Korea and got my procedure done at a clinic in the luxurious district known as Apgujeong in Gangnam Seoul. My surgeon was Dr. Woo jung Kim who was very professional and precise with his words (via translator). Staff was great and recovery went by very smoothly (took about 4-5 months for full recovery). I did have slight communication problems on the first day as I was in a lot of pain and the translator wasn’t cutting in at the time to attend my needs but things got better. The reason I came to South Korea was after seeing a friend of mine’s rhinoplasty work (it was at a different clinic). I went with her to Korea on a whim for vacation and I happened to stop by a few clinics while I was there. This clinic was one of them and I made arrangements to return in June last year. So far my breasts look and feel amazing. One of the worst things though was that I didn’t account for all the clothes that I would have to give away. I could not wear any of my clothes accept for t shirts due to my bust size but then the lower part of the shirt had some lift which made things unwearable outside. I think we can definitely add a few grand to the wardrobe outside of the cost of the procedure. Aside from that, everything was very satisfactory.
Hi. Based on the photos, it appears the left shape is shifting due to the spherical construction and the right implant appears to be misplaced. The currenth shape can be improved using the endoscopic incision technique via armpit. You can have this procedure after 6 months from your previous surgery. But I will need to see in person for the most accurate counseling.
Based on your photos, you can make your areolas stick out more by increasing the implant size through revision surgery however if you are satisifed with the overall size and shape, I do not recommend revision. For your scars, they can be cut out and re-sutured but i think you might have a risk of recurrence so you may need scar reconstructive surgery after some time. Some improvement is possible with scar laser treatment but it own't remove the scar completely.
It is very rare to have spitting sutures away from the incision area. In your case it doesn't seem to be related at all to the incision area.
Based on the photo, 400 cc implants seems possible. You also have slight sagging, but an endoscopic breast enlargement is enough to correct it. However, it is better to measure and accurately measure your size in person for the best answer.
Based on the photo, I believe breast augmentation is needed to replace the implant and insert the new one under the muscle via dual plane method. This will make your chest much fuller.
