Can CoolSculpting be done after having had lipo in an area? (Photo)

It is absolutely safe to have CoolSculpting after liposuction, provided you have fully healed from your liposuction and your final results are now visible. This takes about 4 to 6 months. After this time, you can work with your dermatologist to either use CoolSculpting or Kybella to eliminate the little pockets of fat that are making your abdomen look uneven. Please find a board-certified dermatologist who is expert at sculpting the body.

Hi,Coolsculpting can be done after lipo if there is adequate amount of fat left over. Coolsculpting is an excellent form of non-invasive  fat reduction for the right patient. Some applicators take 1 or 2 hours but the new advantage applicators take only 35 minutes and have significantly less risk for delayed onset pain (especially in the abdomen). Results are seen at 2 months and typically 1-3 treatments will be necessary on each area to achieve ideal results. The number of treatments depends on the amount of fat there and the patient's goals.  There is not downtime and the results can be impressive in the right patient.  We also use the Zimmer Z-wave for improved patient comfort and added results. The best candidates are those who are in pretty good shape with areas of stubborn fat that won't go away no matter what.

CoolSculpting removes about 20% of fat from an area at a time. It should be able to help even out your liposuction results – particularly if the CoolMini is used to target some of the lumpiness. Afterward, I'd recommend radial pulsed therapy with Zimmer Z-Wave to help disperse the remaining fat and make your results more uniform.
