Vertical line/indent in forehead. How can it best be treated? (Photo)

Hello. I have been distressed for some time about a vertical indentation in my forehead. Pictures reveal it has been there for some number of years now, but I can't help but think it is getting worse. I want to know what is causing this (is it linear scleroderma?), and how it can be best treated. My father has a similar indentation in his head and it makes me wonder if it some strange genetic feature? Thank you for your replies!

The depression next to the vein shown is commonly seen. The treatment is volumization. This can be done with dermal fillers or your own fat. I would recommend using your own fat in a very thin layer and repeating it in 6 months. This should provide you a lasting result.

Thank you for the question.  I would recommend using a filler to fill in the valley.  You can use Restylane Silk or Belotero.  It will last about 4-6 months before you will need to repeat the treatment.  I would recommend that you go to an experienced and skilled injector because if not done right it can look uneven.  BTW, unfortunately, it is too deep to consider a laser treatment.
