Thank you for your photographs as they are very helpful. The goal is to treat the cause of the lines developing rather than the lines them selves.  The lines are becoming more pronounced around the mouth as your mid face/cheek area is loosing a little bit of support in terms of volume and the skin is losing a little bit of elasticity.  I would suggest adding Restylane Lift to your cheek area and then using a new filler called Restylane Refyne around the mouth to soften their appearance.  This will make you look so much more refreshed.  Hope this helps.  Best, Dr. Avaliani

For your smile lines I would recommend Juvederm ultra plus.  It is a dermal filler that is injected into the skin to plump up the creases to soften and smooth the lines.  It typically lasts 6-12 months.  There is another filler that just came out that I think will be better than Juvederm.  It is called Restylane Defyne.  I think it will be better because it will last longer and the filler is more flexible so when you smile it will stretch with it.  This won't be available for general offices until summer.  Please make sure you go to an experienced and skilled injector when you do get your fillers done.

Thanks for your questions.  First off, you are beautiful!  Keep up the sunblock and maintenance treatments.  If the nasolabial folds are a concern, you can start with a syringe of dermal fillers to elevate the line and minimize the makeup collection.  Ask your dermatologist if they provide this service for you.  Good luck!

In my opinion, fillers like Restylane Lyft in the upper cheek area are a good option to soften the nasolabial fold. You can mimic this effect by pushing up on your cheek with four fingers and watching what it does to the nasolabial fold. I find that placing filler directly into the fold area tends to look unnatural, particularly if an intradermal filler is used.

I would use restylane lyft (perlane). I would probably not inject it directly into your nasal labial folds, but rather in the cheeks to add some fullness. This would "pull back" the nasal labial fold. It is important to find a provider that you trust to perform this procedure. There may be some bruising and swelling.
