About a month and a half ago I got a scratch on my face, it's still pinkish. What creams should I use?

The scratch scabbed up and fell off in a week natrually but its been pink for about a month now with slight indentation. A dermtoligist prescribed me Rx wound cream called luxamend. Is this a better alternative then a steriod?

How long is it suitable to wait for chickenpox scar healing before going for any treatment? (Photos)

You can have an evaluation now. You can get some good improvement with subcision and bellafill filler injections, but you would need to be completely healed. I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist with experience in scar treatments for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer

There are a combination of treatments that can help: lasers, microneedling/prp, subcision, fillers and tattooing. Cost will vary, but I suggest seeing a laser and scarring expert for a consultation.  Best, Dr. Emer.
