You have made a good selection with implant size for your frame. You should try the sizers to see how it looks on your frame in top and will give you better idea in terms of volume and size. You should discuss with your surgeon implant placement, inframammary fold fixation and need for any support with synthetic mesh.

Yes, 240 cc implants are good size implants for you. However, I would not recommend a lollipop lift. The vertical scars are unsightly. I recommend a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants can be placed.

Although 3D photo simulation is very popular (because it's so high tech and cool to see your breasts change), it still lacks the ability to accurately convey proportion, which is why I prefer in office sizing using sizers, an unpadded bra, and a shirt top. You will know right away what size will make you happy. I'm also a little concerned about your surgeons choice of a full anchor lift on someone whose nipple to fold distance is already short. If you really need a lift at all, it should be a vertical only (I agree, an inframammary incision is important for implant placement).

After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. I agree that you don’t want to go too large when you get a lift. I think 240 is a little on the small side but you say you don’t want to be very large anyway

I would suggest you go and actually try on this size so you can get a better feel of the weight and see how it will look. It is a nice size for athletic women. The photo you show of a lady in the bikini is larger than 240 cc's.

Each plastic surgeon will have their own method in regards to selecting implants or guiding patients through the implant selection process.
The three basic variables that determine quality breast augmentation outcomes are generally the patient’s candidacy for the procedure, the selection of implants and placing the implant centrally in an anatomic correct position.
Morphing programs can be helpful, but are not always accurate in displaying what surgery can or cannot achieve.
I generally rely on reviewing lots of before, and after pictures to get a good understanding of what my patient is, hoping to achieve it. I typically use temporary sizers during surgery to determine the size and shape of implants to be used to get an outcome consistent with what the patient had demonstrated during preoperative consultations.
I typically have a wide selection of implants available during surgery to choose from based on what gives the desired results from the use of sizers during the operation.
Each provider has the wrong way of helping patients with this process. I don’t think it’s appropriate to give you guidance on implant selection. This is something you should be doing with your plastic surgeon.
Provider selection is one of the most important variables, and is the greatest variable patients actually have control over.
I generally encourage patient to have multiple in person, consultations before choosing a provider or scheduling surgery.
