Blotchy discoloration around incision areas 6 months post-op, is anything I'm doing interfering with healing? (Photos)

Accutane is basically chemotherapy for your skin and does interfere with healing. Most surgeons will not operate on those who are taking Accutane and make them wait at least 3 to 6 months after stopping the drug before surgery is done. Also, most surgeons will ask that you not take this drug while early in your healing phase. I would suggest taking vitamin A, plus C, and zinc to help your skin heal and continue with scar treatments for up to a year. Also, Ozempic is interfering with your absorption of nutrients so consider IV infusions of vitamins from time to time.

Are you following up with your plastic surgeon?
Does your plastic surgeon know you’re on Accutane?
Follow up with your plastic surgeon. If you’re she is unable to get you to help you need to schedule if you in person second opinion, consultations.
