I believe that you can request and should receive an itemized bill for your surgery.  Facility, anesthesia, and implant costs vary widely as do surgical fees.  The total cost of $4000 is astoundingly low!!.  Saline implant costs, depending on the surgeon and vendor, probably range between $500 and $800 for the pair in my opinion.

The price of the actual implant will vary.  Depending on the type of implant and the agreement the surgeon has with the company. Silicone implants are more expensive than saline. 

Roughly the cost of a gel implant is $1200 (or $2,400 for a pair). The cost of surgery varies, but in Ontario, Canada is around $7,500, which includes the implants, around $1,000 facility fee, and $500 anesthesia fee. 

Thank you for your question.  You can certainly request a breakdown or itemized quote for the implants, the anesthesia, surgeon fee, and hospital.   The implant cost will vary a little depending on your surgeon and location. In my area, saline implants cost me approximately $600/pair and round silicone gel implants cost me approximately $1500/pair.  I pass that cost on directly to the patient without a mark up.  Good luck.
