Have a horrible crown on my front tooth. Almost 27 and I have never had a nice smile so I am looking for advice? (photos)

My front tooth accidentally got broken diagonally by my brother long ago. My front top and bottom teeth have always had gaps too but I am currently doing aligners to fix the bottom. They did it 3 times before they got the color right but its WAY too thick/bulky looking and I hate it. They filled in the gap with the crown so it is not even looking. Once my aligners are done I'm not sure if I should get a new crown on the one tooth, both front teeth or veneers? Hopefully I can add photos..

To give an accurate diagnosis we would require clinical and radiographic analysis, however, from what can be seen in the photos the crown has a size that does not match the neighboring teeth, besides having an opaque color, so it would be advisable to perform a smile design and determine the treatment to follow, either redo the crown or make a veneer on the neighboring central tooth, or include the four front elements in the rehabilitation.

Your story is one of the most common dental stories we hear. The aesthetics of your crown will vary from dentist to dentist. The reason for that is the dental laboratory used to fabricate that crown. Not all dental labs are the same just like not all restaurants are the same even if they offer similar menus. The bulkiness and the color of the crown tell me that the crown was most likely not fabricated by a master ceramist (a dental technician who has immense experience in recreating nature with their dental restorations). A single dental crown on the upper front teeth is also one of the hardest dental procedures for most dentists. Not because of the actual dentistry, but due to the difficulty in matching a single crown to your surrounding natural teeth. In dentistry we always want to be taking symmetry into consideration as well. Once your aligners are completed and you are happy with how the teeth appear it would most likely be best to have the crown re-done if you are still unhappy with the aesthetics and even consider a veneer on the adjacent front tooth. This would help more evenly match the front 2 teeth and add more symmetry.

Hello, yes, your front right incisor looks bulkier that the other yet it can be redone. I would suggest having your 2 front incisors done to compensate spaces, or your smile line which would involve 6-8 teeth with porcelain veneers and crowns.
