Thank you for your question.I have corrected several buttock dimples, either from vaccination or medication injections.Fillers such as Juvederm, Emervel and Restylane can be used yet the amount required is often cost prohibitive and they are all temporary, at least in Canada. The best way is fat grafting, preferably the stem cell transfer. Some patients may require 2 sessions depending on the defect.Make sure you find a #PlasticSurgeon with experience in #FatTransfer as this is a delicate yet so gratifying procedure! All the best,#DrMarcDuPere, Toronto Plastic Surgeon
I would say that a great cost-effective method to fill a buttock dimple is using Sculptra. The cost in our practice does depend on the volume used, but typically it is ~800 a session for a dimple, and you may need two or more treatments depending on how you respond. Sculptra works by stimulating your collagen to form, so it can definitely last a long a time (couple years or longer). The challenge is finding an injector who is skilled and experienced at filling contour irregularities with Sculptra as it is mostly used for facial aging.
Thank you for your question. Many times, the appearance of the dimple can be improved, but the opinion of how exactly it can be done differs based on surgeon preference such as by using a filler or your own fat. You should begin by researching surgeons that are board certified in plastic surgery and schedule a consultation to determine what the cost would be for the procedure determined to be best for you.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well. The average cost varies a lot depending on the city, the clinic and the plastic surgeon. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
I'm sorry to differ from all my colleagues, but dimples after trauma (like injections) almost never should be corrected with the use of fillers. This dimples are caused by retraction of the tissue traumatized. It can be muscle, fascia or even subcutaneous tissue and all of this will need different approach depending on where is this retraction. Find a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is able to identify this problem and give a proper diagnose and treatment. Only subcutaneus retraction can be treated with fat grafts, and in reality is not the graft that correct the defect is the passage of the cannula that releases the retraction. The price for this surgery will vary widely depending on the procedure needed to "fix the problem"Best of Luck, Dr. Luis Redondo
Hello. It is pretty common to have a dent after a vaccination. These can be improved with a variety of fillers-- ranging from fat, to other "off the shelf" fillers. I would recommend a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who does all of these procedures, and thus can give you the education you need on the pros and cons of each.Good luck.
Sometimes it's pretty easy and can be done in one session only, usually it takes more than one session but the cost is $600 dlls aprox.
