Yes I think this should be possible , as long as your condition is not too severe .

You just need to get your plastic surgeon and your hematologist to liaise and plan your surgery accordingly .

Its the Bleeding/clotting balance during the operation that needs to be normalised. There are many products that can be given before, during and after surgery to normalise things. Your Hematologist is the person with specific expertise and will be able to help. Ask your PS, Hematologist and anaesthesiologist to discuss.

This can usually be done with reasonable safety. There is a wide variety of severity among patients with this problem--from barely noticeable clinical problems to severe ones. 

In the past patients undergoing surgery would often be treated with DDAVP with almost normal restoration of clotting abilitiy. Now there is also a product that includes Von Willebrand's factor and factor VIII that is used. 

Discuss with your hematologist and your plastic surgeon.
