Is it safe to pierce near a dent left after rhinoplasty revision?
I had a septorhinoplasty 2 & a half years ago but still couldn’t breathe. The surgeon took away some of my nose tip cartilage against my wishes ans now there is a little dent on one side. I had a revision to fix my unsolved breathing issue and he moved some scar tissue i had to make a graft out of it for the little dent by my nostril crease. I am now able to breathe but the dent didnt change at all even with the scar tisse graft there. Would I be able to get a nose piercing near the dent to try to bring Back some symmetry to the nose? My surgeon has ghosted me & hos assistant said it would be fine to get a piercing a year & a half after tbe revision but I don’t think she knows what my procedure was or that i have a scar tossue graft where I want the piercing because she even got the surgery date wrong like she looked up a different patient or looked up nothing at all. Should i see if i can get an ent dr to examine it for me to tell me if its safe to pierce there?
