I recently met with a cosmetic surgeon to see about getting my "true" gynecomastia removed. At my consult, I was told I would respond well to Smartlipo because my breast tissue was small and loose enough to suit that course of treatment and that a much more invasive excision wouldn't be necessary, especially as "breast tissue is a type of fat anyway." I've been reading up, though, and elsewhere there seemed to be a very divided opinion as to whether lipo can actually treat gyno. Who is right?
