I would like to only change my profile, not the front view. Genioplasty or chin implant? (Photos)

anonymous 17
I’d like to get a couple more opinions before proceeding with a chin procedure. I have consulted with a surgeon with 40 years of experience back home and before I make the flight I’d like to make sure that this is the right way to go. He suggested a genioplasty as he has seen much better results with this than chin implants, which can move and cause infections and also don’t apparently. result in a natural Look in comparative the genioplasty. I’m worried, however, given that genioplasty seems pretty intensive and also I do not want my profile to change from the front of view. I am fearful that I will have a pointed or long face and I’d like to keep my face from the front as is only changed the profile. he assured me that that’s not a problem and that I will only need a week of recovery no different than removing a wisdom tooth which again is different than what I’ve heard from surgeons in North America so I would really like some insight on this. Thank you.
