How does pyriform fossa filler affect smile lines?

Question

What impact does filler in the pyriform fossa area have on smile lines, and the rest of the face? Does it affect cheeks (ie, make them bigger)? Can it provide a lift for the upper lip? I’ve read about it being an option for nasolabial folds but can’t tell exactly what it does and whether it has the potential to volumize cheeks that don’t need it or make a person look overdone.

The material placed adjacent to the nose/under the fold will not affect the cheek nor the upper lip length. It does 'smooth' out the cheek/lip junction and should be placed at specific tissue levels in order to accomplish the most natural result. The filler does not last particularly long in that location due to extensive tissue movement with animation.
