When can I go back to wrestling after transplant?

When your doctor say you can go back to wrestling.  Every doctor and every patient are different and have different circumstances.  Your doctor will tell you when.

Be sure to check with your hair restoration surgeon about specific recommendations, but I advise 2 weeks for return to most exercises, 3 weeks for weights and one month for return to high intensity body contact sports (wrestling, hockey, football). This is especially important for my patients having FUT as this extra time allows optimal healing.

I advise to avoid any form of exercise during first 15
days. After 2 weeks, mild exercise will be fine.Regarding wrestling, I will advise to avoid during the first 2 months.

2 days to 3 weeks.This depends on if you had an FUE or FUT procedure and the type of device used. Another variable that affects the answer is how big the case size was.

If you had FUE, then you can start wrestling as soon as the crusts are off of the frontal recipient area. IF you had a strip surgery, you might want to wait 6 weeks before competing.
