I am suffering from MPB for past 3 years, and yes i've lost 50% of my density. I have just been using rogaine and maintaining this remaining 50% of hair. So will rogaine be enough for me post hair transplantation? Or is propecia a must? I'm just 22, hence bothered a lot about its side effects.

Dear chrismorrisThanks for the question. Hair Transplant is the permanent solution of Baldness. Hence, they will not thin or fall after transplantation. Whether its FUE procedure or FUT hair grafts are generally taken from permanent zone of head. I wish you all the best.
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do that effectively changes how much hair grows on your face, apart from a surgical option in the form of beard transplant.
