Are Microcurrent Machines Effective for Face Droop?

There are a number of nonsurgical technologies such as Ulthera that have proven clinical results, but micro-current devices have not been proven to work as well. None of these devices is a substitute for a surgical facelift, especially after weight loss.

Non Surgical facial tightening would depend on the amount of loose tissue and the age of the tissue which will determine the tissue response to the non surgical tightening options.

Ulthera, Thermigen and RF tightening using micro needling ( Developed by Lutronic) are the ones that have shown to be effective. Speak to a local Plastic Surgeon who speacialises in Non Surgical options.

Congratulations on your weight loss! As has been stated by other surgeons, there is no evidence that a microcurrent machine would provide you with benefit. There are other non-invasive options such as Ultherapy which can provide limited tightening to the underlying soft tissue however it is limited in the amount of improvement that can be attained. Surgery is usually the most reliable, effective method of managing sagging in the neck. Follow up with an experienced facial plastic surgeon for treatment options.

There is no reliable evidence that microcurrent machines will have any effect on facial aging and I would not waste money on such products.  

 I have experience developing and using these devices and they do have a place and a purpose however they will not give you the same results as Facelift removing 2-3 inches of skin from the face.  

I can't imagine how such device could make permanent changes that could correct dropping facial skin.
