Why do my lip injections look uneven and bad months after getting them done ?! (photos)

Question

I had previously had half a syringe of juvederm and restylane in my lips , once i noticed theh began to fade 6 months later i went back and got a full syringe of juvederm . I was please with them i got them in november 2014 however the past month or so ive notcied they have been looking uneven and slightly droopy . what could be the cause ? Or could it be i hadnt noticed they looked weird until now

Thanks for your question and for including the photo as well. Wealways tell our patients that if they have any concerns, at any time after the procedure, that they should come in for an evaluation, for a comparison with the before pictures, and then we can determine if more filler might be needed or some of the filler dissolved to even things out. You should be having these procedures done in the offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons as we understand the fillers better than anyone else and we understand the anatomy better than anyone – which is crucial in lip augmentation.

The lips do not look bad to me. If you are unhappy with the way they look now and think they need more filler, then you should see your doctor.
