My lower eyelid has been swollen for 9 months. They gave me oral steroids, which helped, but once I stopped taking them, they went back to being swollen. I've had lower eyelid surgery 2 times in 2 years. MRI (both with and without contrast) are “unremarkable” and have not shown anything. The swelling gets pretty and and hurts. I’ve been to numerous eye specialists that have not been able to provide any answers

You are still a candidate for fat grafting. Fat repositioning should have almost a 100% survival given it is attached to its blood supply. Fat grafting can also have a variable survival rate depending on technique and particle size. Best to see an eyelid expert.
