Hello, I originally had 32a breasts and got 400 cc high profile allergen silicone under the muscle implants in 2015 at age 25. At age 32 in 2021 I had Explant and capsulectomy. I healed great and had good aesthetic results due to good skin quality and never having kids. I want to reimplant. Can my second breast augmentation be like a regular 1st time augmentation under the muscle with 350-400cc implant’s again and not require mesh etc? Will Sientra implants feel similar to Allergan?
Answer: Repeat This repeat operation would likely not need any mesh and any type of new generation silicone implant (any company eg. Mentor, Allergan, Sientra). If that picture is your final outcome...I would not recommend messing with this kind of a result unless you really really want to change.

Answer: Implants Your surgeon can examine your tissue and let you know if mesh would be needed. Just based on your photos, I would say it would not be needed.

Answer: BBA Thanks for you question! Chances are that yes, you can have a very similar breast augmentation experience. I would suggest a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon to get an accurate idea/fee. Good luck!

Answer: Implants After Explant Dear Little89, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals. Answer: Implants after explant An exam is needed to know for sure, but if you still have good skin quality it is likely you can have similar volume implants for your second augmentation. Your surgeon will let you know what is recommended after an exam and discussion of your goals.
