Hi, there's a lot of talk about RF microneedling with all of them saying they're the best. From what I've read, seems Morpheus8's needles penetrate the deepest, but that may not necessarily mean the affect penetrates the deepest. I'm wondering if anyone can clarify if the depth of needle penetrate= depth of affect and what needle depth/RF device Tends to have the best outcome for lower face skin tightening. 50 yo male, 175#, non smoker, exercise 1hr 4x/wk. Ty!

Thank you for your question.Lasting grid marks are a risk for all RF Microneedling devices for many reasons; skin color, skin reactivity, not following post-care recommendations, etc. I prefer to prescribe hydroquinone to help reduce this risk but there are several other steps that can be taken...
The quick answer is No. Malar bags or festoons are an area prone to fluid retention between the cheek and lower eyelid. The only treatment that can be helpful is an extended lower lid blepharoplasty. RF microneedling won't be of significant benefit.

You are absolutely correct. Both fractionated CO2 and RF Microneedling can help these type of scars. They are somewhat punched-out, so if not from acne they may have resulted from the skin lesions of chicken pox. Whatever the cause, you would probably do best with the RF first....
