How long does a BBL last? Does it fade away after a while?

 Thank you very much for this question. The final result of the BBL is depending on the number of factors. Especially the way of harvesting the fat has a great effect on what we called the viability of the fat cells. This is basically the survival rate of the fat cells. Fat cells are very sensitive to high pressures, shear forces or heat. Some methods of liposuction are not suitable to harvest fat cells for example ultrasound assisted liposuction because it creates heat. So does laser assisted  liposuction. The original suction Aassisted liposuction very often has too high of negative pressure is that also destroys the fat cells. Ideally fat cells are harvested by means of water jet assisted liposuctionwhich basically washes out the cells and removes them at lower negative pressure's with no heat.  With this Technology viability of rates of 89% of the harvested fat cells have been shown. Over all if done properly 70% to 80% maximum will be the long-lasting results. I do not allow my patience to sit directly on their boat for three weeks postoperatively but they can sit on special pillow. These fat cells are transferred in microinjections throughout multiple planes in the buttock tissue so that they can gain new blood supply and live in their new home, providing increased volume and shape to the buttocks. The fat that survives is there permanently. Around 70% of fat that is grafted is typically expected to survive long term. We also put a little extra to account for loss of fat post operative, which is reabsorbed gradually by the body.

Too early to judge on the final result. You are still at the healing stage. The area in your lower back will be still bruised and swollen and this will take 8-12 weeks to settle. Wear your garment and keep your follow up with your surgeon.You have to give your body at least 12 weeks to start seeing results and final results can take 3-6 months depending the way your body heals

Hello, thanks for your question, yes, at least you can lose a 40% of the fat that is injected, that can happen for the first 2 months from the procedure, that's why is good for the patient to not sit very much, and also to sleep or sit on a boopy pillow for at least 6 weeks.
