Fat grafting to the buttock is the much more common, but  it can be placed in other areas. I have done a few transfers to the upper outer thigh/hip area to  round out that area in addition to the buttock. It is often difficult to have enough fat. You risk under treating both areas. However, any patient could be evaluated to see if they have enough. Good luck.
