How long will it take for Restylane to dissolve from lip injections and non surgical rhinoplasty?

I got the injections around 11/17 with one vile split between my lips and nose. I noticed my lips are now smaller but not back to the original shape. I had the injection in the tip and bridge of my nose as well. I do not like the volume this added to the tip. How long will this last? Do you think hyaluronidase would help?

Hi. Thank you for your question. Generally speaking, filler would last 6-12 month depending on the injected area. If you are unhappy with your result, you can have hyaluronidase injection to dissolve the unwanted filler at any time.

Thanks for your question.  Filler tends to last a little longer in the nose than it does in the lip since the lip is a more mobile area.  After several months the filler starts to go away gradually, and every person is different in terms of how long the product lasts.  If you are unhappy with the appearance, you can either wait for it to go away on its own, or you can speed up the process by injecting hyaluronidase into the area.  It may take several sessions of hyaluronidase injections to dissolve all of the filler.  Hope that helps.

It can take a few weeks for results to settle after hyaluronidase. I recommend following up with your injector about your concerns. It can sometimes take a series to dissolve filler. Best, Dr. Emer

Restylane usually lasts on average 6 months, however, this is different in every patient. If you get the product dissolved, then this can also dissolve your natural hyaluronic acid.
