Hyaluronidase side effects? Is 14 days enough time for recovery? (Photo)

Hi. Thank you for your question. Hyaluronidase would work immediately to dissolve the unwanted filler. However, swelling and bruising are very common with the procedure. You will need to allow few days up to 10 days to settle.  

Hyaluronidase usually works immediately--but I like to give it 48 hours for everything to settle before doing further treatments.  The problem is you may still be seeing swelling from the initial filler treatment and you might like the final results, so melting the filler out may be a mistake.  Its hard with your time crunch--I'd probably give your lips 4 or 5 more days to settle and if you still don't like them, get the hyaluronidase.  That still gives you over a week before the big day. The other factor to consider is bruising--with any injection to skin a bruise can occur.  If you bruise easily it may not be the best option to go injecting so close to the wedding.  There are LED lights and laser treatments that can help resolve bruising more quickly--if your injector offers this option then you still may be ok.
