Hello I had juvederm placed in ONLY my lips I also had a dental block done as well this is the 4th or 5th time I have had my lips done with a dental block and have never experienced so much facial swelling it is now day 5 .. I usually have restylane this time I tried juvederm but I believe that isn't the issue because it's my cheeks is this normal for dental blocks and why am I experiencing this now and never before? How long will it last?? What can I do to make it go away ?? Thanks

I have used Juvederm in patients with various different kinds of cancer over the years with no trouble. Juvéderm is a natural substance called hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in our bodies. It should not be a problem however always best to doublecheck with the oncologist.
