Juvederm placed in only my lips. Had dental block as well. It's day 5 and my cheeks and face are still swollen

Hello I had juvederm placed in ONLY my lips I also had a dental block done as well this is the 4th or 5th time I have had my lips done with a dental block and have never experienced so much facial swelling it is now day 5 .. I usually have restylane this time I tried juvederm but I believe that isn't the issue because it's my cheeks is this normal for dental blocks and why am I experiencing this now and never before? How long will it last?? What can I do to make it go away ?? Thanks

The biggest mistake patients make is not using enough product to get the result they are looking for.I would conservatively recommend based on the 1 photo and assuming the other eye that I can't see very well is as deep as the first one, I would recommend 1 to 2 syringes of product for each eye.

Following lip injections it is absolutely normal to get some swelling that can look asymmertric for a few days.  The swelling could be due to a more traumatic injection on one side, bruising, sleep position or actually more filler on that side.  I would give it a good week to see if it...

Thank you for sharing your problems and posting your photos. Restylane is the best filler for the tear troughs. Juvederm can cause a blue hue and can swell too much. You appear bruised in the lower eyelid region. Your doctor can dissolve the filler with Hyaluronidase and you can be reinjected...
