It is now 7 weeks after my lower facelift and I still have pain and sticking and pulling. Is this normal?

Pain, sticking and pulling may all represent ways in which your system interprets the healing and recovery of the tiny nerves that are divided and must heal as part of a normal facelift recovery.  Of course, most patients do not mention such discomfort, or describe it in the same way.  The best assessment can be made by your experienced surgeon. Call this nurse and he or she will probably be very helpful.  Your follow-up visits are a good time to discuss these symptoms with your surgeon, and if you have concerns that things aren't going as planned, ask for a visit soon to be assessed in person.
