What’s wrong with my eyes? How can I make it look better?

I’m a 32 year old female. In some lighting (see first picture), my eyes look fine but in other lighting (last two pictures), my lower eyelids bulge. What causes this and what’s the best way to make it look better? Do my eyes look old?

Your upper eyelid folds are uneven. You would be a good candidate for an upper blepharoplasty and a possible lower one.

Make sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who is well versed in eye lifts procedures.

Looking into your facial anatomy, it seems that you have a mid-facial negative orbital vector the skin cause hollowness under your eyes however, your lower eyelids seem a little bit puffy, but this is very normal in your anatomy because it seems that your orbicularis oculi muscle thickness is being what you're being concerned about. No surgery is recommended to remove to reduce that thickness which is completely normal.

The bulge you are talking about looks like what is called the "jelly roll"- basically due to one of your eye muscles being a little too strong/big. I would consider trying low doses of botox to this area to try to decrease the activity of the muscle. Good luck!

You need an in person consultation to determine if you are a good candidate for lower lid blepharoplasty. If you have protruding fat that is making your lower lids bulge, then removing/repositioning the fat would be a great option. However, you also may just have a prominent orbicularis muscle causing the bulge. This would respond best to neurotoxin treatment. Best to see an eyelid expert.
