I had cheek filler done in December 2025 and in the past month or so I’ve noticed this bulging area in my upper cheek just below my eye that definitely wasn’t there before. Does this look like the filler had migrated?

From your description, yes—this could be filler-related, but not always classic “migration.”

What we often see:

Filler placed in the cheek can shift slightly or become more visible over time
Or it can be a fluid/lymphatic issue in the infraorbital area

Key clues:

New bulge months after treatment
Location just under the eye
Soft fullness rather than firm mass

Best approach:

Careful assessment first (this is important)
If confirmed:
Hyaluronidase can dissolve excess or misplaced filler
Then reassess contour after everything settles

I would avoid adding more filler until this is clearly addressed—layering on top usually makes it worse.

Thats an interesting question. Could be filler or some of the fat under the eye herniating out. An ultrasound scan can tell you with a good degree of certainty.
If filler then you could get it dissolved. If fat or granuloma then it can be removed surgically.

Post month cheek filler has seen in your posted. Photos is a possibility. Best to have in person evaluation and possible order a subcutaneous ultrasound of area. After that if it appears to be cheek, filler immigration a capital HA dissolver can be injected in a series of visits over 2 to 3 months. Again, best of virtual concert with then in person concert with entertain a scan in regards.
