I recently had Mohs surgery performed by Dr. Hazany, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the care I received. From the initial consultation to post-operative follow-up, Dr. Hazany and his team were thorough, compassionate, and highly skilled. They took the time to explain each step of the process, which helped ease any anxiety I had going into the procedure.

I came to Dr.Hazany due to a keloid scar left from a revision rhinoplasty done overseas. I’m so thankful he treated me even though my rhinoplasty wasn’t done in the states. I’ve struggled with acne scarring for years and have had countless procedures and lasers done. I’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars, had painful invasive treatments done, and horrible recovery periods and downtime. All with minimal if any results. I had all but given up on being able to smooth out my skin, but then I found Dr Hazany. After researching, I realized that he takes a completely different and innovative approach to scarring. I had a consultation and quickly decided to move forward with his treatment protocol, including Phenol Cross, Subcision, and Sculptra. I’ve had two appointments so far and even though I’m not done the results are already amazing. I have a huge reduction in my scarring and my face looks so much healthier and smoother.

I was referred to Dr Hazany by an oculoplastic surgeon who said he would be the best doctor to remove a basal cell carcinoma cancer on my lower eyelid. Dr. Cornell, my cataract surgeon, biopsied a small bump he saw near my tear duct and sent me to oculoplastic surgeon Dr. Roya Ghafouri, who sent me to Dr.Hazany for the Mohs surgery. I have had many eye surgeries on this eye in the past and it is very sensitive. I am a very active dressage horse show judge, i wanted this to be a flawless surgery. Dr.Salar Hazany performed Mohs surgery and removed the cancer in one stage very painlessly. It was healed in about 2 days and I was back to work judging. The staff was really amazing to coordinate an appointment for me since i was coming from out of town, and flying around the country each week to judge different shows. Although he is not in network with my insurance, my deductible was so high that it made no difference and his staff helped me prepare the paper work necessary to get reimbursed. It was worth every penny for this service and outcome. The oculoplastic surgeon was worried that my ear duct “punctum” would be destroyed by surgery, and Dr.Hazany saved it! All of my ophthalmologists are very impressed.
