PRP is part of the "maintainence regime" used by many hair transplant clinics to boost existing hair growth and maintain the longevity of transplanted hairs. There are recent good quality publications to support this.

This more frequently occurs with FUE than with a strip surgery because the punch could damage the growth center which impacts the next growth cycle which is usually 2 years out. This rarely happens with an FUT (Strip surgery) because the growth centers are always seen under microscopic dissection. PRP will do nothing to bring back the hair, just a repeat transplant with a different surgeon and possibly an FUT.
