Tummy Tuck or 360? Is It Worth the Scar If Loose Skin Only Shows When I Bend? (Photos)

icitt1818
I’ve lost over 100 pounds. I’m now considering plastic surgery to address some remaining concerns with loose skin and body contouring. I’ve uploaded four photos: The first two are of me standing upright — my abdomen looks relatively tight, and my abs are visible. The other two show me bending forward, where the loose skin becomes apparent. Here’s my dilemma: The skin laxity is only visible when I bend. When I’m standing or in clothes, it’s not noticeable. I feel conflicted about undergoing an extensive procedure like a tummy tuck or 360 lift — especially since the scar will be wide, permanent, and visible at all times. I worry I might be trading one imperfection for another. I haven’t found many “after” photos of people like me — especially those who show the body in bent positions — so it’s difficult to judge what outcome I could expect. Questions for you: 1. Do you think a tummy tuck or 360 lift is truly necessary in my case? 2. Is the improvement significant enough to outweigh the tradeoff of permanent scarring? 3. Given my goal of achieving a balanced, athletic look, would you recommend one procedure over the other?
